Cases Filed for Injured 18-Wheeler Drivers

As dangerous as it can be to drive an 18-wheeler for hours on end as an occupation, when other motorists drive recklessly, or your employer fails to abide by Hours of Service rules and other regulations, the dangers a truck driver faces can increase exponentially.

Attorney Logan Wexler and the legal team at Arnold & Itkin have recently filed four cases on behalf of clients injured in commercial motor vehicle accidents:

  • An 18-wheeler driver suffered neck and back injuries when another truck driver crashed into our client after failing to control his speed. Even though the defendant trucker will surely deny fault, our client was using a dash camera, and footage from our client’s vehicle should help set the record straight. This suit was filed in the state of New Mexico.
  • In Illinois, an 18-wheeler driver was sideswiped by another tractor-trailer, the driver of which said they were “a little sleepy”. Fatigued driving causes accidents every day on our roads, and it is the trucking companies that push their drivers to their limit who are to blame. We will fight aggressively for our client, who suffered back, neg, leg, and foot injuries in the crash.
  • A novice 18-wheeler driver was intentionally run off the road by another truck, and our client suffered potentially life-threatening injuries. This husband and father sustained neck, shoulder, back, wrist, leg, and ankle injuries because the other driver intentionally committed battery with their vehicle.
  • Our client, an 18-wheeler driver, was rear-ended by a large van, severely injuring our client. Our client sustained neck and back injuries in the collision, and we will walk with her on the road to recovery, determined to get justice on her behalf. This case was filed in Guadalupe County, Texas.

Our 18-wheeler accident attorneys are proud to be representing these injured drivers, helping them to recover fair financial compensation and demanding a measure of justice on their behalf.

About these cases, Attorney Logan Wexler said, “We will fight tooth and nail for our clients, especially when the insurance company wants to play hardball.”
