Suit Filed for Construction Worker Killed in Amazon Warehouse Collapse

Warehouse accident attorneys at Arnold & Itkin have filed suit for a construction worker who was fatally injured at Amazon’s Virginia-based procurement facility construction site. The young man died when portions of the building collapsed on him while he was inside a lift working three stories above the ground.

Arnold & Itkin filed suit in Atlanta, where the Conlan Company—the entity hired by Amazon to facilitate the construction project—is headquartered. When the accident occurred, the Conlan Company had recently incurred a serious violation at another Amazon construction site in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Our client may be the first serious injury at a Conlan site, but it’s likely that this isn’t the first serious example of negligence on management’s part.

We are honored to once again have the opportunity to seek justice on behalf of a family whose life has been shattered by careless and cost-cutting corporate choices.
